nes or snes what was better???

Post by vgaddict »

I got an offer to trade my nes for a snes. my nes is my love but i have it over my parents house so i dont play with it that much and it comes with 6 games or so my best game is punch out. the snes has a few games and it comes with mario world also. Even though I might keep the nes I thought I might have a shout out by asking which system did you think was better the original nes or the snes??

they are both great, I cant pick between mine! It would help if we knew all of the games you are trading and getting.

I think you'll regret getting rid of the games you've known and loved. Then you'll end up reacquiring them at greater cost.

But on topic, I think the NES was better for action games. The SNES was definitely better for RPGs.

damn thats tough! i really like both systems... at least with the snes you can get mario allstars and have all the mario games plus lost levels... stuck on the nes zelda and metroid titles though... yikes!

Keep the NES, buy a different SNES, enjoy both. Best plan.

dude never trade ur baby! thats just wrong! just adopt another baby if you have to!

seriously though, ante up $50 bucks and find an snes with mario and start collecting some other games from there. just dont trade something u will end up buying again later. (ive done it with lots of my consoles i had as a kid including ps1, n64 and dreamcast)

I can guarantee you will have the traders remorse. Never trade children its just wrong :P. Invest in an snes but keep the nes. OR you can sell you regular nes and use the money to buy that duo system that plays NES AND SNES games. That way you have both in one neat little package. But well it just isn't the same.

Buy the SNES. Don't trade. It's a waste of time trading a NES for a SNES, you'll just end up buying another NES later down the line. Considering the amount even a boxed SNES goes for, you must really be strapped if you're considering a trade.

Just buy it dude. Live on water for a week if you have to.

I def agree! I recently misplaced my NES somehow and I thought I would be satisfied with just the SNES... no way... I ended up buying a new one and actually paid a little too much for it just to get it here as quickly as possible.
