You know we're at the highest level of academic discourse when someone decides to pull out an appeal to definition.

Please Dave do come down from your throne in the clouds and explain how everybody's wrong down here.

When someone construes your chosen words as being inconsistent with the matter at hand, an appeal to definition for relative clarity actually makes sense.

Stop it! You're calling into question the entire foundation of the American political system!

Undertale was ranked "best game of all time" by GameFAQs users.

Whether it's a "hipster fad" or not it's moved a lot of people, especially younger gamers, and I don't think its effect is going away any time soon. We don't see this kind of thing happen in gaming very often anymore and even though it's not up my alley I'm not blind to the prospect that the game is going to stick with people and that it probably speaks to this generation in the same way that my formative gaming experiences spoke to me.

I don't like Undertale as a game, but I'm not going to be an old man yelling at a cloud about it.

There are plenty of people in its fanbase that are toxic, but that's also every fanbase ever.

I think we're gonna be hearing about the game for some time. It'll end up with a legacy like Cave Story.

My unpopular opinion is that I have no opinion about Undertale.

There is little that bother people more than something getting more perceived undue credit or praise than it deserves.
