I just read that Alan Rickman died this morning in London. He was such a great bad guy in Die Hard and a great spend-seven-movies-figuring-out-if-he's-good-or-bad guy in Harry Potter, and he had one of theater's most iconic voices. RIP.

What amazing times we live.. Countless generations with immense talent got forgotten or misrepresented in history books, but now we have all those charismatic stars immortalised on film as long as civilisation lasts. He will be dearly missed just as is Raul Julia, John Candy and all the rest.
