Don't worry, you're not. I have three.

I have 5. But everyone wants to be in the main game room. I have my retro room set up on a big wega crt, but obviously no modern consoles hooked up in there.

My next house will have an office and theater room, so will be set up a bit different.

I have three myself. Two HDTVs and a CRT for retro gamin'.

Anyway, the point is it's possible to put more than one TV in a room. One can play console games on a TV while their wife or kids watch the other TV. They can listen to their console game over headphones so everybody can hear their own stuff independently. I know people who've used this approach in real life, and it worked fine for them. So I've just never bought the argument "can't play console games 'cause my family ties up the TV". If someone really wants to play console games they will find a way.

Sure, one of my PC monitors is a 24" tv that I have my PSTV hooked up to. I also use it to hook up consoles to test games and such on. I have moved my PS4 to it occasionally to play scheduled sports league games. But typically moving them and such is deterrant enough that I would just rather play on my PC. Given that most games on modern consoles are also on PC, I just generally play there.

I realize it can be done, and never said I 'cant' do it. It is just another reason why I have gravitated more to PC.

Sure, and my comments weren't really targeted towards you directly, rather towards the general concept itself. There have been many times on this site that I've read people saying "I want to console game but I can't because family TV is tied up all the time". That excuse has just gotten to be a bit of a pet peeve of mine is all.

I have a killer HD CRT with adjustable aspect ratio. It is pretty much everythingI will ever need, and I hope it never dies.

Also, my main problem is that, if my children catch me playing something, they get so involved in it that they don't want me to play it without them!

I live in London. We have 2 TVs in our house right now.

But 2 things:

1. They're both in the same room. London houses are small. I could move one to the bedroom, but that's close enough to the living room as to make no difference honestly.

2. There are only 2 of us in the house. If I spent all my time playing console games in another room, we'd spent most of our time apart, which is just kinda odd to me.

I have absolutely no problems sharing the TV. I have a laptop and like 10 portable consoles I can use whilst still sharing the same living space, and I much prefer it that way.

Any suggestions for CRPG/WRPG Let's Players? I have some games I want to see in action, and I'd be interested to see it. I think an LP with useful information/game history or something like that would be nice.
