Welp you kinda took my 1 suggestion already. Try bootcamp and install windows and get ahold of the emulators available there. Thats where windows has us mac users beat :P

What version of OS X are you running? Also Intel or PPC? AFAIK Macbooks only come in one flavour but I could be wrong.

Also, do you know how to install apps properly? (IE by dragging them out of the .DMG image into a folder, usually your Applications folder) Simply running applications out of DMG images is a bad idea.

My version of SNES9X works fine on OS 10.5.

http://emulation.macscene.net/ for all your mac emu needs.

http://www.macscene.net/wiki/index.php/ ... :Emulators this will cover any systems you want to emulate.

Their forums can help, but honestly SNES9X is open it up, and choose a ROM and go.

Yup, Macbooks only come in one flavor. If its a laptop w/ an 'i' or has 'power' in it its going to be powerpc based. Again I agree that you shouldnt run apps off of a DMG image, it causes many problems, with not only the application but your settings can get messed up as well (color, resolution etc.)

There's a control configuration option in the menu.

Config->Configure Keyboard
OR
Config->Configure Controllers

As for 360 controller on OS X:
http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/Projec ... /OsxDriver

It will only work with wired controllers. If you have a wireless controller you will need the Wireless Gaming Receiver. Just plugging in the play&charge cable doesn't work, all it does is charge the controller and nothing else.
