@Xeogred

One thing for me is that I spend 40+ hours a week in front of a PC at my day job. When I get home and it's time to game, I'm less inclined to want to sit in front of a computer again to do so. I'm at a point in my life now that I love handhelds the most. At least as far as intimate comfortable gaming is concerned. I wish I could play all my 6th and 7th gen console games on handhelds.

@Bogus, is she hot?

@Exhuminator: Haha, got a new data entry job myself so that will probably add to the effect as well.

She was a very pleasant lady. True story, when I worked with her, I had to give her a ride home all the time after work and it made my then-girlfriend-now-wife insanely jealous. She honestly thought we were doing the dirty, but nope! I was just taking her home. I'm classy like that. I feel bad, because I kind of stopped being her friend because of that. The stupid things we do for love.

When you tell your wife, follow it up with, "And just think, I could have been porking her."

Playing the game Roundabout, only to find that one of the actresses in the game... was an old co-worker of mine when I worked at Blockbuster! WHAT!?!
So that's how you get into acting... start out at the movie store.

I've done the opposite as far as PC/console. In the past few years my time PC gaming has gone up as opposed to console. My PS4 has basically become my madden, for online franchises I play year round, and movie machine.

Part of this is because of the way my house is set up and kids. I have the big gameroom with PCs in back of the room. My daughter or wife are always wanting to watch something on tv, so playing a console usually means I have to kick them off. However, I can sit back on my PC and still be in the same room with them, so that is usually path of least gaming resistance.

Same here(for the most part. I've never been into Madden). I've always played PC games, but as time has gone on, I play fewer and fewer console games. Hell, I don't even own a modern console.

This is why I'm such a fan of handhelds. It's like what you said above only you even get to sit at the couch with people.

On the other hand, I'd say my console gaming time has increased lately. I've been making more use of the weekends for console gaming - I let my girlfriend watch TV instead of me playing consoles most evening, but she hasn't got a lot of interest in crappy weekend daytime TV so I'm free to binge unless we have other plans.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person on this site with more than one TV in the house.
