A good disaster movie, and the closest you'll come to witnessing the terror that strikes all those poor Tsunami victims.

Star Wars Episode 7. Spoilers aside, Loyal Stormtrooper of Sick Spins is without a doubt the best addition to the saga. His moves were on point.

I've watched two great neo-noir films on Netflix recently:

Black Coal, Thin Ice

and

Phoenix

Both are, to my knowledge, still available for streaming, and both of them are excellent. (Seriously, I can't recommend them highly enough.)

What can you say about it? Best Terminator film I've ever seen, but I've only seen the first three.

Also, sad news in the film world:

"Phantasm" series' Angus Scrimm dies at 89

Saw The Force Awakens on Saturday.

I was pretty pleased overall. They did about as well as I think they could have. They played it very safe in my opinion, and I will expect more originality next time around, but I think they are trying to segue smoothly into a brand new cast of characters, which might be the smart move in the end.
