alright so I played a couple more credits... I do like Sarah more than I gave her credit for. I think right now my biggest problem is throwing too many punches/kicks when I'm standing too far away for them to connect. That and blocking. I find blocking with A really awkward.

Shun Di is where it's at in VF2. Some killer throws and normals that come out at odd angles.

Started up Panzer Dragoon Saga. Might have the shortest first disc in gaming history.

This shit never gets old. There are very few games which I can go back to years after first playing it. Super great with friends too, gotta love those joke characters. And by including some new moves from the upcoming VF3, it's basically a better version of VF2, but with like 30 extra characters. Cross it over with the Fighting Vipers retaining their original style of gameplay, and you got one hell of a 3d fighter. Seriously one of the best fighters ever made, and definitely one of the best games on the Sega Saturn.

yeah I def enjoy Fighters Megamix more than any of the VF games. I love Fighting Vipers, so having all those characters, PLUS having the Daytona car and crazy shit like that... it's just a brilliant and stupid fun game.

Fighters megamix is such a frenetic game. I love it, because no fighter has ever emulated the sheer speed that this game has.

Also, looking back I wonder if Deku was an early version of Amigo from Samba de Amigo.

Who legitimately unlocked the palm tree in that game, raise your hand.

oh. Then I did not. I unlocked a LOT of fighters. All of the ones I knew you could anyway. But I did so over the span of a week or two and def clocked less than 20 hrs doing so.

Yeah most people miss the meat and the palm tree as characters. They have certain requirements that take a long time to unlock. I obsessed over the game when it came out, because I had a love for virtua fighter and was excited for the sneak peak at virtua fighter 3.
