I've always used Akira, because he has a lot of strong, quick strikes that can result in knockdowns.

yeah that's what I like with him, too. If you pull off that ->, ->, Punch combo thing where he dashes forward and does that powerful punch pose, it knocks a huge chunk of life off your opponent. Seems like if I could get better at defense then he'd be great for heavy offense.

Akira is definitely one of the most devastating characters, but has one of the strangest rhythms that I have never been a fan of. His combos are tough to pull off, but so rewarding.

Man I wish I had people around here to play virtua fighter against. If only there was an arcade that had a version of it. You would see me at it all day hoping for a challenger.

I mostly used him as what I call a "poke" fighter. His moves have good speed, so I try to use him to interrupt the opponents moves if they have a long wind-up.

VF is one of the few fighters that I try play defensively.

played a few matches last night to experiment with different fighters. I think I like Pai the best right now. I *almost* got to Stage 5 with her.

Welcome to the club! I need to bust out vf2 and play some. It has been a long time!

Aww man, Sarah Bryant all the way. She's smokin for one. All her moves come out quick and her combo game is pretty top notch. Pinwheel kick? Hell yes!!

"Better run home to momma now!"

I played a few rounds as pai. It feels so weird to go back to vf2 after playing so much of Vf5 final showdown.

I still got it. Nailed the AI, even though the moves have all changed.

Both her and Pai are awesome. I've been playing them a bunch in Fighters Megamix. I still think Fighters Megamix is the best Virtua Fighter game, since it's the only one that allows you to lay waste to a living car.
