The worst part is the "yes, include them" option got more votes than the "no, don't" option.

I hope they all seek refunds and the game loses its funding.

Are you being serious? Are you aware of what the kickstarter exclusives were? (Telephone card, two move scrolls*, and a jacket skin for Ryo: for reiteration.) Most of the people "slacker backing" are people who already supported the kickstarter.

This is a MASSIVE non-issue. If this actually is an issue for someone: Gain some perspective.

*It may have actually been four move scrolls. So in hindsight, you're right: This is an affront to the common man.

You guys do realise it's literally just a couple of "Kickstarter exclusive" rewards, right and that 95% of the rewards are being offered right?

Nothing has actually changed. They haven't taken rewards down. Paypal backers are getting everything that was promised to them. This poll was regarding some Kickstarter exclusive rewards that were NEVER offered to Paypal backers, because, you know, they were marked as being exclusive to Kickstarter backers. I voted yes, but in reality, this isn't a big deal at all.

So fed up with knee jerk, outrage, bullshit, emotive tripe.

I'm going to have to cosign, just because I love Shenmue and I'd give my left testical for Shenmue 3. Stop pissing on my parade, just because Paypal backers won't get a couple of crappy exclusive DLC rewards (or their face in the game) that were never promised to them in the first place

Over the New Year's holiday weekend, Kickstarter backers were given a say on whether rewards would also be granted to those who came on-board during the campaign's second wind, when it opened up the option to donate by PayPal.

Those "slacker backers," as they were called when the PayPal option opened in September, were denied access to the exclusive rewards based on the answers of just over 15,000 respondents. 4,009 people voted against offering the bonuses to PayPal contributors, 4,670 said they were okay with it and 6,432 expressed no preference.
