especially with the 15 second load times before battle. This isn't a PSX, load times should be evident of 2009 and the PS3.

Uh, how about installing it? Completely obliterates the load times.

Everyone with the PS3 version should install it, I hate playing people online who haven't installed because then i'm subject to the shitty load times.

Install it? What do you mean by install it? All the updates and installs are done on my system. This is a very common problem, I know many people who are complaining about load times and people who never seem to have a halfway decent connection.

P.S. Zangief is a douchebag, he has unbelievable power, I got screwed into getting 3 spinning piledrivers and I was just about dead. I don't know a single character in the game who can do 3 moves to someone and almost kill them. But I digress....

Go into the Options screen, then go to System Settings and choose to Install - it'll use 2.1gb from your harddrive and takes about 5-10 minutes to fully install, but the load times are seriousley reduced to barely nothing.

I'm currently sitting on about 1300 BP after reaching a high of 1600. There are a lot of scrubs out there I had no idea. I consider myself an average player at best but geez people are dumb. I can and WILL fierce sweep anyone to death in a ranked mode. Block low!!! Scrubs call me cheap, I call them stupid.

Waiting to meet more people who just kick my ass. I really want to get better. The majority of online players play this like SF2. Use Focus attacks and they fall every time.

This may not be the best fighter evar but it is a real blast online. I guess feeling strong online kind of helps

You know, I thought a lot of things were cheap in SF2 until I read some of David Sirlin's stuff. That doesn't mean I'll play all comers, though. I prefer to play people who are about as good as me, maybe just a little better. If I play people who are a lot better I'll just get too frustrated and I won't learn as well.

And @MoBoRoS, I suck at fighters, too, for the most part, but I still like playing them. The problem is that most other people who love them are more dedicated players than me, meaning as much as I love to play them I get easily frustrated and stop playing. Nasty cycle, that one...

I'm not going to play ranked mode for a little while. I'm not getting any better at the game. Either all the good players are waiting to come online while practicing or I am god at SF4. I won 38 rounds straight yesterday and did not lose. Took on all comers no selective matching. I am a total fanboy but once again I am average AT BEST at Street Fighter games in general.

I hope the Champion Pack DLC makes it easy to create tournament style matches. It would be nice to only include certain skill ratings so it would be a fun tournament for everyone. This is what it is rumored to do.

im in that same boat, im the best street fighter player but ive only played about 4 ranked matches and ive won each one so far, this is weird to me because in HD:R i get my ass handed to me constantly im 12-34 in HD:R
