My mom recorded a video of me singing karaoke (see above post), but only her and my Facebook friends can see it.
And I just sang the title number from RENT a little while ago.
They close in about 40 minutes and IDK whether or not to do a few more songs.
EDIT: Just sang "Defying Gravity" (in the style of the Kerry Ellis cover of the "Wicked" showstopper). Done for the night.
What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I totally choked on stage 6 of Raiden Fighters 2. I was deathless and was nearing the end, using bombs as I go, then I tried to save a bomb and kill something before it killed me. Failed. Then died on the boss because I wasn't aggressive enough; had I been on top it would have died before the bomb wore off. Two lives gone, just like that.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Nervous: The last thing I ordered for Christmas is set to arrive by the 24th and I'm supper crossing my fingers in hopes it'll show up.
A few weeks ago I was out with Mom and she wandered over to a Star Wars display. I asked what she was looking for and she mentioned to me that she'd been looking for a small Yoda plush since 1980. The store didn't have one, but I figured, hey, easy-peazy-pumpkin-squeazy, I'll just find one online and put the little bugger in her stocking.
And holy crapola was I mistaken. Most of the suckers I found were either too small, too big, super fugly looking (admittedly not hard to do considering the character at hand, but hey, I have standards) or, like, $50, which is quite a bit more than I wanted to spend on a stocking stuffer. But after much searching I finally found a new release that not only looked good, but was also the right size. It says it'll be here by Christmas Eve, so I'm sort of hopeful. Otherwise it's going to have to be a...New Years gift, I guess. That's a thing, right?
I'm really hoping it'll come, since I've already folded a couple different oragami Yodas and put them in boxes with two other gifts, so it would be really nice if my theme could be consistent
: Was wandering around the electronics section this weekend and noticed a man starring confusedly at the amiibo display with one box in each hand. He looked at me all hopeful and asked if I knew anything about them 'cause he'd just gotten his son a New 3DS and *puppy dog eyes*
So I spent a few minutes explaining the current Nintendo ecosystem and he was so very happy by the end of it. So some lucky 10-year-old boy in this county is going to get a New 3DS and Pokemon Omega Ruby (the game the boy asked for. Had to talk dad out of Smash, even though it's awesome) for Christmas.

Another video of yours truly singing karaoke
This video is of me singing my second of three songs at The Point's karaoke night, the title number from RENT.
The first video is of me singing "Midnight Radio" from Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
My third performance of the night, which is apparently not immortalized on video, shot on my mom's cell phone, was the "Defying Gravity" from Wicked, in the style of the Kerry Ellis cover.
I don't know if you'll be able to watch these since they're on my mom's Facebook page and her privacy settings may prevent one from watching unless they're friends with my mom on Facebook.

It's just that I have three small dogs who happen to be female. I deal with whiny bitches all day and then I come here and....
Out loud.
Also, I can be an asshole sometimes so take my sentiments with a grain of salt.
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Can't wait to see them man. Problem is I don't have Facebook any longer so I can't friend your mom. Please post them elsewhere. It is imperative that I view these, I'm intrigued.REPO Man wrote:Another video of yours truly singing karaoke

You need to work on taking out your cranky on people. You're holding it in too much.jp1 wrote:- Growing negativity on the boards has gotten to me a little and I've been a bit cranky today.

- Mostly joking. I had to vent a little though, sorry for any unpleasantness. I don't think any of you are "whiny bitches".
Out loud.

It's a work in progress Popo. I'll get there one day. I might even get myself a warning so I can wear it like a prison tattoo.MrPopo wrote:You need to work on taking out your cranky on people.
