Uh oh, Joes, it looks like SNESdrunk finally got around to reviewing the GREATEST GAME EVER MADE. The only problem with this game is that Sergeant Slaughter, special drill instructor for G.I. Joe, was not included. But that's ok, because all of these Joes have been highly trained to confront and destroy Cobra wherever they hide. And now SNESdrunk is a part of it all. How does it feel knowing you can hack it with America's supreme fighting force?

YO JOE!

Nice vid. I never knew both games received SNES ports, honestly. I've only played the arcade originals. Midway rules.

Oh, and (Mainer here) "The Running Man" wasn't just an Ahnold movie but also originally a Stephen King novel.

It would have made the game too easy.

Smash TV is wonderful on the SNES. If I recall correctly it's Brian Schmidt's favorite port of the game.

I've got to agree that Total Carnage was a step down and not a very good port but to be fair the arcade version was maybe a bit too much above what the SNES could handle.

I played Ristar as a Summer Challenge game some years back and did not like it at all. It suffered from the same issue that I find in many Genesis games: style over substance. It looks "nice" but I found the game mechanics and controls to be far too awkward and janky, and it ultimately just felt like a chore to play. I prefer more "flowy" platformers like Mario and DKC, while Ristar felt like later-era Sonic (which I also dislike).

Yeah it's in the Super Ghouls n Ghosts category. Stop, study, decide, then go. As opposed to "Eff all y'all Imma plow straight ahead" like Mario.

I'm really liking the sega drunk videos man. I'm an avid genesis fan and watching someone explore the library for the first time is exciting to me.

So many classic games for you to play and your reactions are so genuine. Keep up the good vids man
