I'm rummaging through my stuff trying to look for postcards, guess I'll have to get a new one tomorrow. Feel free to add more xmas initiatives in this thread.

I sent Safyre a card this morning. I thought about posting this story here yesterday. I'm glad you posted it today.

The response here is underwhelming, but not everyone can spare a trip to the post office.

I really hope plastic surgery gives her a chance at normal life in the years to come.. It won't be easy but medicine has done wonders in recent years.

Hoping some folks are just doing their own thing and not really being vocal about it here. I thought maybe she would make an excellent charity auction proceed recipient or at least we could rally something together by chipping in...but since little interest, I'll just send her something.

I know there are some people who prefer not to be as open about donations/actions with something such as this. Perhaps that is all you are seeing on this.

I was going to donate through the site they posted but wasn't to keen on giving them my credit card or bank account info so I'll probably just send a card.

Love to see this. The last thing that little girl needs is financial instability or to be disappointed at Christmas. I hope everyone remembers her every year.
