The only consoles I'm planning to hook up to it are DC, Sat and SCD by the way. Already have DC going via SVideo.
On my HD WEGA, both the PS2 and Dreamcast Lightgun would try to work, but the sight would jump around the screen. Its just not the scanlines of an SD Tube. Try also some "higher" resolution consoles thru the HDMI input to really be blown away by the picture; even a PS2 with Component set at 480p will really shine. Really, don't regulate your HD CRT for just older consoles. Try the DVD, Bluray player and any TV signal via Cable, Dish or even the Antenna with a matched Digital Tuner. The TV signals of both HD and especially regular SD all will look very sharp unlike the upscale issues of SD on an LCD or LED screen.
