Need more Chrono Trigger help

Hi guys. I've just beaten the Golem Sisters in Chrono Trigger and I'm stuck on that aircraft just after my party got all their gear taken away. I've wandered around what seems like the whole inside and top of the craft, as well as scurried around in the vents, but I can't find what to do. Any pointers?
