RPG Progress Report

Continued progress in Mass Effect... I've acquired my own ship and nearly filled out my crew (squad?) roster.

Here's some face pics of the femShep I made:



Playing her as a lady lovin' ice queen renegade. (I've already begun to role play her libido.)

This game is pretty damned great so far. Even I can admit that.

True, but, I saw that as an extension of the traumatic childhood of an Adept, which was also my character's class...so she bonded with him over that. Made sense to me for her.

Mass Effect, woot!

Yeah, it's pretty great. I wasn't enamored with the style change at first from the first to the second game, but then it grew on me. It's significantly more competent than I was expecting from BioWare, and some of the classes are crazy fun. I played as a Vanguard every time, which is a Soldier/Adept hybrid. It gets this awesome dash/charge move where you basically slam into an enemy from across the battlefield, and then you shotgun them in the face. Very high risk, high reward. Probably not a great class at the higher levels, but at normal, it's awesome.

I never did roll with a FemShep, instead trying to (poorly) recreate myself in the game. And even though Hale gets a lot of attention for that role, whoever did the voice acting for the male Shepard did a great job, too.

I considered doing that as well. But then I figured since I'd be seeing the backside of my character throughout the series, a lady's derriere would be more appealing personally.

I'll mix it up. Shepard is a woman though. There is no FemShep, only Shep. That Chris Evans knock off can get right out. Also, I like to run up and hit things, so I played her as a straight soldier. You don't like what she says, you get a face full of buckshot, you hear? Ruled the damn galaxy with an iron fist, committed genocide on an entire intergalactic species, and kept the Krogan around because they're the only thing in the galaxy with balls close to the size of mine. And Kaidan always gets to hug that nuke, I don't want bitches on my squad.

Do you know why Reapers exist, children? To save the galaxy from ME.

I do really enjoy playing a strong domineering female in Mass Effect. Her voice actor is kick ass. But why tell you guys stuff you already know. I don't know how all you folks had time to play all these seventh generation RPGs but I'll catch up someday I guess.
