More of a random shmup thought but Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours is getting an english release 11/30 for Vita and PS4, with Steam following a week later.

Cross-buy for the Sony versions is intriguing.
From checking out the DCS twitter feed, this is NOT a cross buy (but it is cross save). Vita version went out 11/30, PS4 was bumped to today.

You may have to shell out a bit for DBCS, though. Rumour has it that it's going to cost in the region of $50-60...

^ The Vita version is $39.99 so your pricepoint sounds about right.

Darius Burst will be $60 on PS4 and come with the soundtrack, whereas the Steam version will be $50 and no soundtrack. There really is no excuse for a digital title to be $60 in this day and age, no box, no manual, no shipping. This coming from a guy who spends $500 on a PCB secondhand.

As part of the holiday sale on PSN - Xevious 3D/G+ is under $3.00 for PS+ members this week.

Per wiki, this includes 3D/G+ and arcade ports of Xevious, Super Xevious and Xevious Arrangement.

Xevious Arrangement is fantastic, I think it's the best of the series and also the game the average gamer will like the most.

Been at parents' house over christmas with just a PSP for shmuppin', so I've been playing DariusBurst. Previously, I'd only cleared Arcade and Burst mode on the easiest routes (with Hungry Gluttons or Thousand Knives as the final bosses), but now I've got 1CCs on all routes in Arcade and Burst, including those with Dark Helios and Great Thing as the final boss. Getting better at the burst counters on the bosses as well; improved my Arcade score with 54 million and my Burst score with 64 million. I think I'm ready for DariusBurst: Chronicle Saviours now...
