If you feel that you don't have the necessary skills to take that course, then you should look at the remedial level courses the school offers that you could take in preparation for that. It'd be a hell of a lot cheaper than retaking something multiple times and failing, not to mention the most valuable asset you have: your time, would be better utilized.

:) Since Game Over Games was having a really good sale for Black Friday (all used games 50% off) I went out for Black Friday. I did have to get up at 3 or 4am, but it was worth it in the end since I got Xenogears for $25 and Thousand Arms for $40 :) Maybe it's possible to find those games for cheaper, but I don't see those games too often so I was happy I went. (it's not like it was crazy busy anyway)

:( Been feeling super down for no reason as of late. Luckily I don't have much school work to worry about and it's very close to winter break, but it still feels really awful.

:? - waiting to hear if they'll even approve me for the class so maybe I can do it this coming semester and hopefully take advantage more so than I've done before of the support center. I just need to get help expanding my ideas for these papers so they don't turn into fluff and repetitiveness. Also sent in another application to red ventures just for the intern position I've seen on there in hopes that they'll hire me(I can't think of a similar place to work for in nc that has a position like that listed right now, and what I need is a internship somehow to get me through college and turn into a real job so I can get out of grocery/retail soon before I rip my hair out and punch somebody...)

:( Got zero sleep last night, because of a very fussy baby.

:) Wife comes home from work at 4 AM and says, "Hey someone is paying you good money to edit their paper. It is just punctuation and grammar and should be easy!"

:( I ask how much she is paying and it is $10

:( I look at the paper and it is 20 pages long.

If you need to vent about anything feel free to PM me. I know a thing or two about dealing with depression.

Smile: It's raining today, but that's because a cold front is rolling in. It's December now and here in south Georgia we still haven't had any actual cold weather. I'm hoping the temperature can at least dip below 50 at night due to this front.

Smile: Microsoft finally released the update that fixes the 512 Start Menu item bug. Now I don't have to dive into the actual directory structure to launch games anymore.

I wish I could have gotten over to Game Over on Black Friday, I didn't get the chance though. Then again, I probably would have bought a bunch of stuff I can't currently play/don't own the system for while grinning like a 'possum until I realized what I had done.

:D Close to done for the semester, and so it looks good. Smooth sailing, as long as I keep everything together. Also finished my first three appointments with the counselor, and it looks like I'm going long haul, because I feel like nothing got done. Might have to switch to a different one, but overall I think it will help once it gets patted down what I need to fix, and how I can go about doing it.
:( I had some oopsies during pre-registration, and don't have full hours. I'm going to have to get an appointment to see my adviser and get stuff figured out. I was suggested to get my communication credit out of the way, but...those classes look absolutely horrific from a time standpoint. Not studying wise, but writing, preparation for speeches, group work, etc. It's an issue for my major, the advisers used to have a go to class to stick us in, but it is no longer allowed as core communication credit.
:? Roommate and his girlfriend were doing the deed, and she isn't quiet. I don't care, but I think the fact that I was in hearing range upset his girlfriend when she realized. I'm not sure if I should just shut up and pretend nothing was heard, or talk with my roommate and figure out the house rules on such things. Then again, I'm the only single one here and the girl that lives in the room above me goes off like a dying cat at least once a week, so I'm getting really used to it all.

I'm feeling a lot better now, but I really appreciate the offer :) I'll try and keep that in mind next time though.
