With the original Xenoblade release on Wii in the USA, Nintendo of America allowed players to have access to the bikini outfits without censorship.

So something has changed NOA's mind since 2012 to 2015.
They have literally only edited the bikini outfits for a single, 13 year old character. The other characters can wear them with no changes.

You can all fuck off with your 'SJW' blaming bullshit.
But seriously yeah censorship and SJW's suck. Grown ass adults crying about what other grown ass adults can and cannot do.
Which is exactly the same as people who are moaning about the decision to make the edit.

Did I mention NOA removed the breast size slider from the game as well?

And I've seen more so called 'SJWs' upset about that then happy about it personally. Strangely enough, people who want equal representation also want a variety of body types available.

Not only was this not in response to any complaints, it's not censorship if the creators of the content were the ones who chose to modify it willingly.

SJW is a lazy, bollocks internet term that seems to be almost exclusively levied at people who give a shit about basically anything that isn't the status quo.

I just assumed most of this forum was above this sort of stupidity.

First time I've used the term. Replace it with "idiots" in my posts if that sounds better.

I have to agree with this, to be fair. SJW is a made up term and I'm pretty sure SJWs, as the internet imagines them to be, do not exist.

I am kinda sick of hearing the term. I think the loud, fanatical, dramatic, hysteria that occurs as a result of alleged "social justice warriors ruining [insert random thing]" is just as annoying.

That said, we did kinda discuss this already and Xeogred agreed that in this instance, SJWs weren't really applicable to the censorship.

I still don't agree with the sentiment, but whatever, we'll move on. I just want to be clear here too - I don't care about the bikini, in either respect. I don't care that it was modified. I equally wouldn't have cared if it hadn't have been - I'm playing Akiba's Trip right now, I can handle Japanese teens in panties in my video games. I just really don't see why it's a big deal that it's been changed. It's a tiny, insignificant part of an absolutely massive game. It effects nothing of the games plot, message or anything. It's completely unimportant in terms of the game, and if they want to change it to avoid potential negative press or even legal trouble (see: Dead or Alive Dimensions) then so be it.

On a more relevant note, I'm very excited for this game. It's the big game of Nintendo's pretty poor line-up for Christmas, and man, it is a big game. Reviews have been pretty kind so far.

I've been avoiding paying to much attention to the details of the game, because, like the original Xenoblade, I want to be surprised by what's here. Looking forward to it a lot.

I won't use it again.

The one thing I am really looking forward to this one over Xenoblade, is the return of real mecha. That was a major void in Xenoblade to me, since they were always a big focus in the previous Xeno games, and controlling them was always awesome. I'm a big mecha fan in general, and while I loved the art direction in Xenoblade, some of the weird mecha enemies and the curvy architecture wasn't really my favorite. I definitely dig the mecha in this a lot more.

"I don't get to see 13-year-old underboob!" is not a hill worth dying on, folks.
