2015 Racketboy Auction - WE NEED ITEMS TODAY

The call for items usually catches people off guard.

Then they have an idea for something in their head - but "there's plenty of time, i'll get it sent in later."

Then the list is posted and there's 50-75 items or so; people think, "Oh, that's right, I wanted to put XXX in." Then they pm the auction runner and ask if they can still get something in.

We've tried running a "hard end" on donations with moderate success; but at the same time, if someone has something cool that will bring in money - we don't want to keep it out.

For those reasons we'll post an initial list on 11.25 (or about) and then members will have a 1-week extension to get things in followed by a hard end / live bidding on 12.1.

I feel like we already have a solid $750-800 in items - so I feel good for where we are, but it would be awesome if we could quadruple that.

Update on donation recipient. The poll closed and it is very close:
6 - Racket member in need
5 - extra life
5 - able gamers

So, we are now taking applications for a racket member to receive the donation. If you are, or are aware of a racket member who has or is having a rough go and would benefit from this years donation - please send me a PM and it will be shared with a very small group. No one else will know of the application unless it is selected as the recipient. If there are no applications by WEDNESDAY, November 25th - we will do a 3-day poll between Extra Life and Able Gamers.

UPDATE - after a mini-rush; we are again without items coming in. As of now we sit under 15 total items from 6 members. I know there are people who plan to donate things and I know there are a lot of people who look forward to bidding - but...WE NEED THINGS TO BID ON...SOON!
