It sucks that I have to boot into Windows just to play X-COM. There's no technical reason that it can't run in Linux since there's a version of DOSBox for it. I know I could just take the files from the Steam directory and plunk them into my Linux DOSBox folder, but then I wouldn't have Steam keep track of my playtime. I'm really curious to see how much time I've invested into this title. So far I've logged almost seventy hours with twenty five of them being in the last two weeks. :O

That's how I feel about the ps1 games also. Now that I have a nice crt I can also buy games that are light gum games like area 51 and die hard trilogy. I know there were time crisis games but was there any games like virtua cop on the phone or was time crisis sonys answer to sega's virtua cop

How good are Amiga emulators thesedays? Any good controller support/mapping?

Despite being a huge Chris Hulsebeck fan, I still need to actually play through the original Turrican games! Last I tried ages ago Amiga emulation wasn't very good though.

As good as console emulation and built in:

We will see you on the other side.

If you want to tweak WinUAE to work as different Amigas, there are guides:

And you know, Ivo wrote a guide on this somewhere:

Amiga emulation is very very good this days. Check it out Xeo.

Speaking of Amiga I'm having the hardest time track down a NTSC Lemmings (part 2 is easier to find, however).

I've gone into a rut with my gaming. I'm really stuck on my comfort games and nothing else, and for whatever reason I've become a bit of a trophy hound on PS3, which is stressing me out a disturbing amount.

I need to get out more.

According to ZeroAX, it has been over 40 days since I last logged in on Steam. I really don't play anything other than whatever I can play while commuting, I'm simply too tired for it.

Gonna quote and go back to this...

First, they need to organize the damn shop better! Holy balls, I checked out the PSN store again today and it was a trainwreck. They took away a lot of the categories again and it was literally just like Games -> Genres, with PS1, PS2, PS3, PS Originals, DL games, etc all jumbled up together. lmfao, are you kidding me?

Looks like you can still search better on their website, but why do I need a computer for that?

Nintendo kind of does the same with their stuff. I guess they love making it hard for us to give them money.

Microsoft had a hell of a sale on Xbox games today on their site. Missed out on GTA V (sold out like instantly) but ended up with Destiny TTK, Diablo III, Metro Redux, Transformers, and Forza 6 for $130 plus three free $10 MS Store coupons.
