Mike, I really try to contribute to these charity auctions whenever possible. I'm not sure how other's feel, but I'm a little unsure about what to offer. I don't have a lot of rare, unique, creative, or easily shipped items.

That said, I'm working on some stuff. I will try my best to meet the deadline.

I'm not complaining by the way, I just wanted to state why I haven't already hit you up...and that I still intend to.

Understood - I do have a couple items that have come in this past week - so we're getting there. Hopefully some more folks keep 'em coming and this is another successful year.

An FYI to those who've pm'd items over the last 2-3 days - I haven't opened PM's as I don't want to lose them - I plan to get them all up and listed at the same time.

Please keep them coming - we're slowly but surely getting a nice pile..

So I'm hesitant to bring this up, but I've been thinking, as far as unique items go...

Would anyone possibly have any interest in a game related painting? Something fairly simple, focused on some character or another?

I'm not promising that I could do this, as I'm not certain I could have something ready in time that I'd actually be satisfied with, but if there's a positive reception to the idea here I'd have a stronger drive to work on it.

I might have a few things left that I can part with. I have some free time this week so I'll dig in and see if I can find something. What I want to donate won't be ready in time as trying to find Darkstalkers comics is a pain in the butt.

I think handmade one-off items are awesome.

As usual I'll be donating a couple of items. Total should fetch around $100 I would hope. Just need a little more time to figure out what it should be.

Why does this years charity not seem to be going so well? Any ideas? We need more donations!

^ I'm a little bummed. I had two really cool things I wanted to do for the auction this year. Work got in the way though, I've been working 6 days a week and OT every day for the past month. There's no way I could make the deadline with what I wanted to do (there's always next year).

Don't worry though, chupon. I wont be doing a repro this year, but someone else will be donating one! And it looks like I'll be making the labels for it, and possibly UGC artwork too!

I don't think I have anything lying around worth donating. I'll keep an eye on this thread though, if I see any posts like "donations have been scarce and lackluster!" then I'll scrap some small (but sweet) stuff together.

Not sure but I've put in about $200 worth of items already. I hope we can at least raise a couple of thousand this year even if participation is down a little bit.
