Holiday gaming 2015 edition

Post by noiseredux »

Dear Santa you guys, I can't believe that next week is Thanksgiving. The week after that my wife and I will be on vacation and already getting our Christmas decorations up. It's crazy. This year has flown by!

In anticipation of our holiday vacation, we've already started assembling a list of games to play around that time...

Since I've been on a Dreamcast kick lately, I ordered The Grinch,

Blue Stinger,

and the ODCM demo disc with the Toy Commander Holiday Mission.

My wife ordered the Wii game Santa Clause Is Coming to Town. We've played it before - a fun little platformer. She used to have a Rudolph one but it wasn't too great.

I figured we could use this thread to talk about what holiday themed games we're playing this year, as we tend to have that discussion every year scattered throughout the forum.

Do the PSO Blue Burst lounges react to a date and modify the theme?

Maybe we could set up a Christmas gathering date with a group of Racketeers.

I'm planning to play through the DOS game "Jetpack Christmas Edition!". I haven't played it for at least 10 years, but I used to love that game. I'll wait till closer to the holiday season since I'm still obsessed with Axiom Verge. It's not often I love a game so much that I decompile it to find out the underlying mechanics...

Another suggestion: Parasite Eve
