Very nice and in HD too! (at least if you call Youtube's -6:-6 bs AVC video HD, that is :P)

More recent Yuji Naka interviews.. it seems Naka-san is back in the spotlight again, albeit with Sonic only being his legacy. Prope still lots to prove and Let's Tap is a good start.

I also loved how Sonic’s a combination of Western Super Heroes, Speed, Micheal Jackson, Santa, and Bill Clinton.
This comment sums it all up as to why Sonic is/was awesome.

Gametap's video editors have had my respect ever since they started airing their ads on adult swim. Their presentation is always slick, with no bullshit. They know their way around editing game footage. Always looks nice.

I really don't understand the whole Bill Clinton thing, sonic was created 90/91....Clinton really did not hit international news until 1993, when he became president. So i really don't understand why he said he based sonic off of Clinton, unless off course he somehow watched a lot of Arkansas news over in Japan.
Somebody sell me a model 1 modchip for Saturn. Please.

Maybe he's just a political guy? Or maybe the similarities to clinton was something he picked up on later in development and thought inspired him. . . it has been nearly 20 years. Also, other countries pay more attention to american politics than americans pay to other countries' politics. And considering the gulf war was going on in the early 90s the 92 presidential race was probably at the forefront everywhere by early 1991.

I thought it was interesting how Sonic had a hot human girlfriend in a red dress like Roger Rabbit. I also thought the comment about how they "had to take sonic out of the band for the american audience" was weird. How is that in any way risque? In fact it seems like more of an american trait than japanese. Also, how exactly did they "soften" him as far as the character design went? His eyes were more agressive in the sonic 1 cover design than anything I've seen of him from Japan. I also thought it was interesting how they said the japanese style just wouldn't sell well here, and 5 years later kids are obsessed with anime stuff (pokemon) and american cartoons try to look japanese.

Yeah, but without those changes Sonic never would have caught on. Fangs? Come on.
