 I went to the computer room in a close university to chill out a bit before going to my French classes and once I sat down this guy a couple rows behind me started to complain on his phone about Muslims and how they might all be terrorists and that they might bomb the metro on winter and that he has seen several of them here on campus. Lots of nasty stuff about "reporting" them so the other guy in the room and I gave each other a knowing look and decided to pack our things.

It gets worse, as I was packing my things the guy came out to me and asked my if "we" had reported to the university that there were lots of Muslims so they could report them to the authorities or other nonsense. I told him I was busy and didn't care but the guy went on this weird rant about the safety of students so I had to tell him to shut up and leave me alone. He went back to his chair and I left.

The guy didn't seem quite right in the head but he still pissed me off.

I'm still surprised by how bad the xenophobia can be towards certain groups in Europe.

:) Got my schedule pretty well set out for next semester. 8 AMs nearly all week long, but that can't really be helped. The advisers still get surprised at some of the credit I came in with, and how I'm one of the handful of true production people around. I know, I'm one of about 20 that isn't going to be a vet or work with show animals, I get it.

 Lots of bustin ass right up until Thanksgiving. Have a test Thursday, a project that needs work, and a test and a project due on Tuesday. Should get everything done, but have to make sure my sleep schedule doesn't go to shit this weekend.

Yeah not a big fan of muslims myself either with things going on recently with some of these extremists. But labeling a whole group instead of the crazy extremists, I have to admit is a little kooky....

:? - ended up leaving work early because I got nausous when bending or kneeling down to put/take things off lower shelves...it was only 40 minutes early but dang I hate leaving work early especially since this whole week(last wednesday to today) has been totally unproductive thanks to having to finish truck, the sugar selling like crazy(.97 for a 4lb bag limit 2), fixing the holiday wall(which I still haven't fully finished), and straightening up shelves. Holiday seasons are just the worst in retail especially when I'm forced to explain that because of rookie co-workers on the night crew and our small backroom I can't get to what they need since some of it was put on the back on the truck and slammed full infront of it.

:) - even though insurance still hasn't sent the money for my old car so I can get a newer one, we're going to look at newer ones tommorrow since my mom just happens to be off when I am...just hope that somehow I can avoid picking a black, white, or silver car(those colors are way too common and i really want to be able to spot the car if i'm keeping for years and years to come in a parking lot so it doesn't blend in that's why I liked my green honda...)

When people do this to me, I typically just say "fuck off, idiot" and excuse myself from the situation.

 - went car window shopping basically especially since we didn't get the guy we wanted to(that may've just referenced us to a knowledgeable associated) which would've been a life saver if we had. So now i'm filtering through the hendrick site instead for a newer car(the guy apparently didn't know what the hell he was trying to sell us nor did he even know what to do in helping us find another if it had been on that lot, the one next door, or the auto mall... *sigh* I just want to get this done and over with so I can get on with my life...

:( Money is tight right now and I want to buy the game Undertale. So tight that we can't even spare $10

:D Selling all my steam trading cards that I have been hoarding and I've already made $5.70 and I have 78 more cards up for sale. I can do this!

:( There's this great French-only science fiction book series called La Compagnie des Glaces (The Ice Company, the game Transarctica was based on them) which I really, really like but it seems the last print was ages ago so I can't find the books online. Sure, I have seen a lot of overpriced "good condition" copies but I really dislike torn or damaged books. I bet the books are common in France's libraries so my best hope is to contact a specialized library and get them to ship a couple tomes to me.

In the meanwhile, a pirated pdf of the books will have to do. I wish I didn't have to resort to them :/

:D I'm having far less trouble reading them than I expected. The author knows how to keep his writing simple and pages just blaze by even when checking the dictionary twice per page.

That reminds me of when I made a trip across the pond a decade ago and found the whole set of XIII in an airport bookstore. I really wish I had bought that comic then.

Haha, when I went to the US the Euro was worth around 1.45 dollars which coupled with lower meant I came back with at least twenty books
