Looked over my Wii collection, and two games jumped out.
(1) Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings - As mentioned by others, purchased solely because I wanted to play Fates of Atlantis. Great bonus feature and best thing about that disc.
(2) Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy - The game was interesting enough to draw my attention on it's own, but knowing that rRootage and Gunroar and Torus Trooper (along with the original inspiration game, Tumiki Fighters) were all included on disc was a pretty big selling point for me.
That one time where the bonus stuff was better than the game

Ugh I totally forgot about that with Indiana Jones on the Wii, that was the biggest selling point of that game in general let alone that Wii version. I know some who bought the game just to have the old SCUMM engine masterpiece not that the 3D game was awful (it was quite good.)

Just got my used copy of Defiance Collector's Edition from Amazon Warehouse for $5.37 shipped
. Game is pretty meh or at least was back when I bothered playing it at launch, but the collector's edition was worth picking up for that price.

^ Heckuva price but at what cost to your shelf or office space? That thing is huge!
This thread is a great article idea for RB actually.

I don't have an image of the box, but the Red Faction Guerrilla Collector's Edition I think would qualify. You get this nice oversized box to eat your shelf space up, a big book in there with lots of art and fluff, but the key item that was boxed within the box is a very well posable Mining Walker mech from the game. The detailing on this thing is very spot on down to some very fine points. You can raise the base, the arms, and the legs can be moved and they even have piston shafts on them that do actually work where the rod moves in/out of the place it is seated within. The game was decent alright, but unless you're cracked out on GTA style stuff it did wear thin (I had it.) I had the toy longer than the game, thankfully my brother worked on it so it didn't cost me anything.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom (Wii) and Ojousama Express (Saturn) are two games I can think of off the top of my head that some people buy just for the mini-games they include.
If we're talking purely bonus items that are physical, I bought DC Universe Online mainly for the Batman statue it came with, and I bought Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi purely for the exclusive Figma it came with. (Considering doing the same for that Japanese version of Gravity Daze PS4)
