The cast/character lineup for season 1 was great. I love Billy Bob Thornton, and his character was awesome. But IDK, I think the cast and character lineup for season 2 is even better. Tod from Breaking Bad and Ray Romano's brother are excellent. Bruce Campbell was just laugh out loud funny after knowing Jeffery Donovan was a regular recurring character (they both starred in Burn Notice together). And I love Donovan, I think he always plays a great part. There's lots of great characters that are played very well, but really, Ted Danson just puts it over the top for me.Jrecee wrote:Fargo is amazing.
Not much else to say about it.
So what have you guys been watching lately?

I recently got the Earthworm Jim cartoon series DVD set and have been watching that. I loved the cartoon when I was a kid, but I know a lot of shows from that era don't hold up so well. EARTHWORM JIM IS THE SHINING EXCEPTION, it's really funny. I don't know why the cartoon doesn't seem to have much of a vocal fan following; it's gold!

Watched the first episodes of The Man in the High Castle and Jessica Jones. Both very different, both very exceptional. The first is very high concept with a fantastic score, with characters slow to emerge, but coming alon. The second is very personal, very character focused, and does a lot to get you inside the character's head (but with showing, not telling).

Chojin Sentai Jetman. So far I'm about 17 or so eps in (the second longest I've ever gotten into a Super Sentai series, the first is ToQger which I've finished, excluding the Kyuryuger crossover) and so far so good. So much darker than more recent Super Sentai. But from what I've heard, its followup Zyuranger (aka the source material for the first season of Power Rangers) was much more light-hearted and this tradition continued.

Man I love PKD. I wish he'd still been alive today.

Went through the first 6 episodes of Jessica Jones last night on netflix. So far it's probably my favorite Marvel show and is just as good if not better then Dare Devil in my opinion. Krysten Ritter and David Tennant are giving really good performances so far and Tennant's character makes for a very entertaining villain.
Only thing that is kind of awkward is the constant really explicit sex scenes. I feel like I'm watching a cinemax/starz series. There isn't really any nudity but they are mating like rabbits and extremely loud while doing so especially in the first 3 episodes.

I've really enjoyed Shinkenger and Gokaiger (I also watched Goseiger, I wouldn't recommend it), I've often wondered about going back to watch Jetman (specifically).REPO Man wrote:Chojin Sentai Jetman. Gokaiger makes you want to check out a lot of the old series'.
Let me know if you like how Jetman finished out, I'm very curious. Also, Toqger looks ridiculous, was it actually decent?

Was watching Limitless, until it got to be the same crap story told in a different way over and over. Acting is fine, lead girl is attractive. Over all 6/10.
Just started watching Into the Badlands, damn good show so far. Gotta love me some hand-to-hand and bladed weapon based combat.
The Man In The High Castle, GREAT! I've always had this weird fascination with what would happen if the USA got invaded and captured.
