You need to get the DreamCab into a modular state, and then sell the design and/or parts so others can recreate the joy.

Noise I always was interested of what you wrote on the vs dreamcast. I actually am pretty happy that I got the system back. My only thing is that I don't want to buy games anymore. I want to just burn games so it won't break the bank for me. If you guys remember I love the fighting and shmups era. Now is there anyone who can burn the games for me. I will pay to have them done. If not then I'll just get a CD holder and buy disc only games

the Dreamcab is a "Dreamcab" - it's nothing special. Just a setup to play it in a cab-like setting. I'm not so advanced. I'm actually considering making it half my desk at this point. There's an allure to putting it in the bar, but I don't spend much time down there. I may well just set it up in my room - but things are up in the air right now. Still brainstorming.

Plus, you know, you don't want to spill beverages on it. There's always that risk.

I'm not sure that it being in my game room will prevent it from having drinks spilled on it... But I'm pretty sure that's where I'm gonna be moving it to again.

Hey so I had stopped by my local retro place the other night to check out their DC collection but they were cleaned out. Literally all they had were a handful of sports games and a couple of disc-only or missing-manual games. They had 2 copies of NCAA Football that they wanted $10 for for some reason, so I passed. I grabbed NBA 2K and World Series 2K1 for dirt, but far better finds were the strategy guides I nabbed for $3 each: Space Channel 5, Crazy Taxi 2, Ecco Defender Of The Future and Ready 2 Rumble Round 2. Was pleased with those as I enjoy flipping through DC guides just as much as I do ODCM. I actually have a pretty nice collection of DC strategy guides built up right now. And I just got the Grandia II (Versus) guide in the mail yesterday since I've been playing the Anniversary Edition on GOG.

did some work in my game room over the weekend. Moved the old Dreamcab back up there though unfortunately I am sans arcade sticks right now. So, it doesn't feel quite as cabby as it once did.

Still have not gotten a controller or av cables for the Dreamcast. Also have not found anyone to burn games for me either. Well I have to just have patience and wait for someone here or a yard sale or thrift store to find them

Rob, if I had extra hookups I'd send em your way. Sorry buddy.

I haven't burned a DC game in AGES (get it?) and honestly, but if you wanted a guide to point you how to do this yourself I could find one for you. Let me know!

Well noise that would be great, but I have no way of burning the games. All I have is a tablet and my phone. My wife has a laptop but her drive sucks.
So maybe my other option is getting disc only.
Would love to build the Dreamcast collection up again but don't have the funds for that anymore.
So if anyone has any disc only games or cheap games they want to sell as well as an extra vmu and av and a controller let me know.
I can't spend a lot of money so I'm not looking for the rare gems.
