When I had my original Xbox I got a game called Project Gotham Racing 2. I know that racing game fans normally like this title but I quickly discovered that I was more of a Burnout 3 man.

BUT

PGR2 had a garage. In the garage was an arcade machine that had a mini-game. A little vector graphics based twin stick shooter called Geometry Wars!

I played the hell out of Geometry wars. I probably put a good 20 hours into that mini-game and about 4 hours into Project Gotham 2.

I also mainly bought Rodea for the bonus Wii game, but I do plan on also giving the WiiU version a try (I had to get the limited version though since they were out of normal copies whoops)

Another game that I can think of would be Harvest Moon: A New Beginning. I pre-ordered it with the big cow, since I really liked a lot of other Harvest Moons and I thought the cow would be very limited. I didn't end up liking the game much so I got rid of it, but I still really love the cow! Too bad it didn't end up being limited though ._.

As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I wondered if it was about Rodea The Sky Soldier

Yes, I bought the game too and did so for the Wii version. I mean, from what I've heard, it seems that the Wii version is the "true" version. Yuji Naka himself created that version and only the other day, he told people to play that version.

The publisher insisted on a Wii U and 3DS version. The 3DS version was handled by another team and it was ported to the Wii U. So the Wii U version is actually a port of the 3DS game... The 3DS version is apparently atrocious and barely playable. The Wii U version is apparently good, but flawed.

The major difference between the two versions though is the Wii U uses touch screen controls and the Wii version uses motion controls.

Any of the Gamecube games that came with Pac-Man Vs. as a bonus disk might as well have just been bought for Pac-Man Vs.

Well played. Pacman Vs is pretty much perfection in a party game. Everyone knows how to play Pacman, and getting to hunt him down as a ghost is fantastic.

Try the PS2 PAL version which can easily be converted to NTSC. 25 extra PDA fan made levels and the All You Can Eat game used in Castle Crashers.

Yes. Why else would you own that game?

.....

I buy games for bonus features all of the time. People have already mentioned the Wii versions of Indiana Jones and Prince of Persia, however, and I will have to think of some more before posting again in this thread.

The plastic steering wheel that came with Mario Kart Wii made a pretty good door stop. I found that to be more rewarding than the crap fest the game itself was.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
