What was the last movie you've seen?

Oh! You think darkness is your ally! You merely adopted the dark.

Is that what he' said? Good to know. Not being flippant (tone), I honestly can't make out half of what Bane says (context) until about halfway through the movie. Still not sure what he says on the plane, and also on the football field.Stark wrote:Oh! You think darkness is your ally! You merely adopted the dark.
Also I'm perplexed why some don't find Hathaway attractive. I can't find a single flaw.
Solid Soap: You echoed what most of my friends have said about SPECTRE. My pal Neri-Dog said "I don't mind the fact the Bond movies seem to be getting longer in length, but I do mind the fact at times it drags". I mentioned that most of them drag at points and his response was "At least there is dialogue".
Looking forward to hearing people's opinions of PEANUTS. My advice is if you have kids, take them to see it. They will have belly laughs, and you will also chuckle.

Not a BAD doll-themed horror film but definitely different.
Also on the old MGM DVD release, on the menu there's a scene that looks like in some kind of hospital (possibly an asylum) that iirc isn't in the film at all. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Wish I had the sequels (seen them all but still).

This was supposed to be the third part of a triple feature (with Dolls and Child's Play, going from doll film, to doll film in Chicago to another horror film in Chicago), but I was too tired and watched this the following night.
Still one of my fave horror films.
Also, a great example of how by that point, horror films were becoming more mature and engrossing.

What can be said about such an incredible film?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
That it is horrible. I liked THE CROW when it was released, because I was in high school and didn't know any better. Bought the soundtrack (which is alright) and even a t-shirt featuring the Crow logo.REPO Man wrote:

Watched not too long ago and couldn't believe I liked that mess of a movie. Not only does it take itself too seriously, the ridiculousness of the movie goes beyond stupid.
For those who have not seen The Crow, consider yourself lucky. Imagine a movie with a scene of your average low rate scary bad guys swallowing bullets while taking shots, doing gun gesticulations with their fingers and shouting (and repeating) Fire It UP!
Every dead dude revenge cliche' is used, and mutilated.Sometimes I wonder if Brandon Lee meant to kill himself after a few days of shooting this nonsense.

Lol! Well that's something! I don't have any expectations about this one so I am looking forward to it! I am okay with just some good ole popcorn fun!Plus Bond's blood is coursing with nanomachines so Q can monitor his performance. Finally caught up with Solid Snake on that front.

But those are all the reasons I love the movie. It's everything 90s grunge condensed into 90 minutes of cheese.Luke wrote:

I can totally get that. It's just that some of the scenes make me cringe at how over the top horrible they are. Most of the movie makes me wonder what it was aiming for as nothing serves much of a purpose. People eat bullets, addictions are cured by...not really sure. Death is avenged by more death? Do we need so many fake tombstones?Jrecee wrote: But those are all the reasons I love the movie. It's everything 90s grunge condensed into 90 minutes of cheese.
I'm picking nits, and I can see the appeal, but it is a horrible movie.
That said...I still love this song and will never tire of it.
