Most likely you had "all season" or "summer" tires as winters are rare to be fitter as standard.

There's videos online of RWD BMWs destroying AWD SUVs.

Summer tires are self explanatory for when you can use them. I won't bore you with the science behind tires but I do know that for most people, All Seasons are a safe bet. It can handle a certain level of snow but the tires would have to be fairly new (have the tire treading not too worn). Winter tires are good for, you guessed it, winter. Water, snow, sleet and anything else in between. Not ideal to use year round as you would have the tread wear out more during the summer because they are softer tires. You also sacrifice performance over harder summer tires.

There's a lot of tire stuff out there. It's its own subject and a thick one at that.

AWD cars start out more expensive, carry more weight, affect handling (compared to RWD), use more gas (or diesel), and require slightly different maintainance.

Yeah if that's the case I think I'll just stick with rwd if I do have to get a new one(which I honestly do want a newer one that would be 2010 or newer and still get at least 32mpg combined that my current car is supposed to get) and get winter tires(and maybe somehow go through discount tire since they do have a nice warranty and free rotation/balancing anyways that my current civic has...)

IDK about that. I see exactly what you're saying, but all those people that get their 4WD/AWD car/truck stuck in a ditch are STUPID! It's not "I have 4WD, I'll be fine!" Some of them think, "I have 4WD, that means I can drive in the snow like it's a warm summer day!" Wow, 4WD provided enough traction that you could cruise at 50+ MPH. What's this? A traffic light turned red? Oh, that's fine. 4WD also means you can magically STOP in the snow too.

4WD wont save you if you're an idiot. But you're ALWAYS gonna be better off with a 4WD/AWD vehicle if you drive it like it's FWD.

I am shocked because he was drunk but not tripping.

One of my favorite typos comes from over a decade ago where a friend said he was "fdunk". It's a fun word to say, and also paints a perfect picture of how drunk one must be to say they are fdunk.

Suits! Top button always buttoned when standing, unbuttoned when sitting. Always have at least 1/4 inch of your sleeve visible. Never button the bottom button, unless you are getting paid as a model and are forced to do so.

Pickles! Perfectly appropriate for breakfast.

Hot Dogs! No ketchup, ever. Hot dogs are NOT a sandwich, but ARE appropriate "first date food".

Speaking of food, if you have not had a banana split this year, it is time you do.

Biscuits! I can't say if I like the buttermilk Southern style ones or the Flaky layered ones better. They are both delicious.

CD's! I believe if they went back to the original huge box packaging, sales would rise.

Which came first: The fruit orange, or the color orange?

The game You Don't Know Jack is may be the best party game ever. Trumps naked Twister, and strip bop-it. Speaking of bop-it, you can play it with a set beat on a keyboard and people's anatomy.

A quick haircut for a guy is as enjoyable as a day at a spa for a gal.

Every incarnation of TMNT is pretty great.

Superman movies should be as goofy as the premise of a Superman. Plus, Ben Affleck obviously didn't watch Man of Steel, as Superman bleeds in it.

The best pick up line of all time remains to be "Hi".

The best thing about the show King of The Hill is Bobby Hill.

I always felt like a failure when I couldn't get my straw into my Capri Sun pouch during lunch break in school...now too.

Duke Nukem Forever ain't that bad.

The prices at Toys R Us are ridiculous. $130 for a small sized AT-AT?

My suggestion is to get another set of rims for on the fly changes when the weather shifts.

Was browsing through new releases the other day and noticed they released a new compilation set with You Don't Know Jack 2015. I'm tempted to pick it up but would probably never get around to playing it :P.

I have a "friend" who once shared a bunch of 'shrooms on Halloween night with my, I mean his girlfriend back in 1999. Didn't feel a thing, so these two smoked some Mexican cabbage. Said friend went to the bathroom, looked in the mirror, where his reflection smiled back at him without my friend smiling. It still freaks him out.

His girlfriend left long streaks of red nail polish on one his walls and she "couldn't get out". That was even scarier as she tried to scratch her way out of the room.

Frags, totally get it if you host parties. I would kill for an eight player version of the game that comes with eight buzzers and has voice recognition. More games need buzzers.

Sounds like the MP is kind of fudged based on the one Amazon review. Basically MP requires everyone to use a mobile device and log onto a website as opposed to just letting you use controllers :P.

Will wait for it to hit $15-20 over at best buy then snag it. I'm guessing it probably won't do very well in terms of sales especially if they don't get the website required for MP sorted out.

I just read that the Jem and the Holograms movie bombed so spectacularly that it's getting pulled from theaters after two weeks.

Color me not surprised.
