Random Gaming Thoughts
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
My parents still have a working Coleco KidVid add-on for the Atari VCS/2600. I think they have the entire selection of available games as well (there were 3, maybe?)

You should check them out. Neither version is terribly expensive, and having Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man team up to take down a map is pretty awesome. The new levels are also a nice touch. The only thing I don't like about those ports is the re-drawn graphics.Lazer wrote:watching a Youtube of it: it looks awesome.

Oh cool! I would be very interested to read your impressions and/or a comparison of the two games.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Yeah it's good. I'm gonna be getting Doki Doki Panic soon so I can do a comparison.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Are there any other games out there quite like Super Monkey Ball? I'm talking the same kind of era or mechanics, not the old isometric ball games.
There was one on Xbox Live Arcade way back in the 360's early days, can't remember the name of it but it was very cool.
Absolutely love these kind of games but I'm not sure if there's anything else out there quite like them? Might be the adrenaline rush from the awesome combination of a real time puzzle platformer so you have to think and act on the fly.

Maybe Rock of Ages, that seemed similar.

Well I don't know what systems you have access to, but here's a few real time puzzle action games I think are decent:Xeogred wrote:Absolutely love these kind of games but I'm not sure if there's anything else out there quite like them? Just don't get hooked on something like SImpson's tapped out...I'm still trying to break myself off that so I can really focus on pokemon yellow/ffa(which the latter I think i may've gotten myself lost in now that I have chocobot)BoneSnapDeez wrote:Also, you can play games on Amazon Fire???

You sure can. Amazon's even got their own wireless game controller, which is a requirement to play everything they have.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Also, you can play games on Amazon Fire???
I have the Fire Stick, which doesn't have nearly all the games as the regular Fire does, but I can easily play Sonic CD there, which is always a good thing!
