Have some of the usual members left Racketboy forums ?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

It just seems to me that we the regulars have already exhausted the vast majority of retro gaming discussions so we have inevitably moved to other areas.

I mean, there are only so many times you can say that Battle Garegga is one of the best shmups ever made and that Capcom made better beat'em ups than Konami.

I mean, even you have changed the topics you talk about quite a bit. Now you dig waaay deeper into niche games because you have exhausted the more mainstream stuff.

Especially when you make wrong statements like those two. TMNT: The Arcade Game is the best beat'em up of all time and Battle Garegga isn't a shmup; it's an exercise in masochism.

I'm certainly not a big deal here but I spend more time on Racketboy than any other website. Similar to others, my last three months have been trying.

I had my first son! This is finally finally after two girls, and an unfortunate stillborn carried full term. I'm stoked to have a son but it was not without complications. Over the last month I've been traveling down to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianaoplis (about 3 hours away) every few weeks for multiple surgeries on my baby boy who needed a shunt installed in his head to drain excess fluid. He's doing great though. Now five weeks old - just over 12 pounds (9lb6oz at birth).

Oh yeah - his name: Ezra Michael Walton

Rest of family is great!

Haven't been playing much retro stuff lately. No time. I did just buy a dedicated Killer Instinct Arcade cab to add to my basement arcade but haven't spend more than ten minutes playing yet due to being too busy. Pics to come.

Besides that and my growing pile of games, my other hobbies of pinball, Magic, and my career I basically can't commit much time to gaming let alone forum posting. I look whenever I can though.

Miss you all!
