So the place I work at has a ton of magazines that they're probably just going to throw away aside from the Nintendo Power ones because they know they're worth something. They only had one GameFan mag as well as a GameFan Guide (Night Warrior), which I've already taken off their hands.
Aside from Nintendo Power and GameFan, are there any other magazines I should be on the look out for? The other mags I remember seeing were GMR, GamePro, EGM, Tips and Tricks, GameInformer, PSExtreme, Official PS Magazine and Official Xbox Magazine, though there were probably a few I missed as well.

The magazines may not be worth a fortune, but the playable demo discs that come with PS Underground are a lot of fun, and a great value (if not terribly expensive). My advice: look for demo discs. You never know what neat treasures they may hold.

If you have the issue of Next Generation magazine that included Christmas NiGHTS for Sega Saturn and it still has the disc, that could be worth a pretty penny.
Sega Visions is the magazine I'd personally most want to collect. Official Dreamcast Magazine has cool-points too. But it sounds like you probably don't have those ones...

Any magazine is as collectible as you want it to be, really, and no more than that.

I have a personal interest in Tips & Tricks issue 100 if available, but most of the mags from the mid-6th generation onwards will probably have little to no "resale" value, imo. 5th generation and below would get a lot of love, here, but again, not much "resale" value.
Re: Collectible gaming magazines?
I'm interested in any Sega Visions or Game Players magazines from the 90's. Eventually I'd like to have a good library of the 6th gen era of Game Informer since I used to read that a lot around that time.
As far as value, I don't think they're particularly worth a ton of money, but old EGMs and Game Pros are usually pretty sought after.
One magazine I'd love to see again was the EGM Sega imprint MEGA PLAY.

I three am interested in Sega Visions. I love re-reading the ones I have from my childhood. I have this ridiculous idea that someday I'll complete the collection, so I keep checking in on eBay auctions of lots... that typically sell for about $80.

So hey, you could maybe sell those for something too, if you found any and were interested in trying.

I love Electronic Gaming Monthly. I had a sub to it for the longest time and treated their reviews as to whether or not I'd save up for a game or not. Definitely did that for the 5th and 6th generation consoles.
EGM's reviews were gospel. I'd be curious if you could hang on to some of them.

OK, so maybe my earlier comment is a bit glib. Is this a thing? Are gaming magazines now collectibles? Is it mostly nostalgia or is there real value in these?

Here is a one-off that I know about. I've got almost all the Gamepro's from late 1994-2000. December 1994 is pretty hard to find for a reasonable price because it has a rare Michael Jordan card in it. It took me a few years to find one without the card for under $15.
