Yeah I saw it used at Gamestop a few weeks ago and was blown away. Was tempted to get it, but I'm holding off till a price drop since I already have 5 copies of it 2 of which are on the original Xbox(standard and "second edition") and can be played on the 360 with a compatibility patch anyways. Still interested to check out the improvements sounds like they did a decent job with it aside from a handful of mostly audio glitches.
It is either $20 or, at the place above, 2 for $30 so $15 technically.
I did some research and it turns out that this is the mobile port that was released on the 360 that caught a lot of flak for performance issues and cut tracks due to licensing issues.
I actually have the Xbox Originals version which is the initial Xbox release (the one you have) but in digital format when MS released games Virtual Console style through XBLA. It is claimed that the Xbox Originals version (or hard copy) is the best since it retains all of the music and isn't a friggen mobile port!
Well, personally speaking I don't find PCSX2 to be perfect enough in its emulative capacity to be worth troubling with. It still glitches up too much (from game to game) to be ideal. Even something as simple as flickering textures or alpha channels not blending properly bother me. I do admire that PCSX2 can ran PS2 games in higher resolutions with vertex upscaling though.
What I'll do to play this is make an ISO of the original PS2 Generations CD, patch it with the fan hack, convert the CD ISO into a DVD ISO, then ESR patch that DVD ISO, burn it to a Taiyo Yuden DVD+R*, and Free McBoot it on an actual PS2. The trouble is worth it considering this method insures maximum compatibility.

*Yes I know about HD loading on a PS2.
Yep that Is a good way to do it. The emulator is such a hit or miss with many of the games that it is just worth burning the iso and popping it into a soft modded ps2.

I agree with Exhuminator. I appreciate the work put into it but the truth is that PCSX2 isn't a great emulator. I have tried to play through it a couple of times and everytime I ran into some kind of game-breaking issue.

For about 2 years now, my girlfriend has been recieving PSN reciepts made out to one Aidan Boulter to her email address. As her name is similar, we assume he just put in the wrong email address (how the fuck he authenticated it is another question entirely).
Today, my girlfriend bought a PS4 and has been having trouble registering a PSN account because her email is already taken.
If anyone knows a PS4 owner named Aidan Boulter who is a big fan of Battlefield, let me know!
