One thing that has me excited about SF3 winning is the chance to discuss how significant the changes between iterations were. 3rd Strike and New Generation are practically unrelated in how they feel or play for example.

I would not be opposed to this. We have done "horror double features" many past years. Thoughts y'all?

Seems reasonable - they are very different games.
