Why did I have to read this thread? Now it's in my head, too. Aaaaargh!

(Actually, it doesn't bother me that much, but it's certainly repetitive. I've just replaced it in my head with another stage soundtrack, so I think I'll be okay...)

I agree that they should have made it longer before it loops. But if you don't like the river theme that's just crazytalk.
I will admit, part of my love for the soundtrack is nostalgia. I used to play it with my dad all the time, and it was the last game we played before he died, so there's that.
Insert clever quote here.

whenever my wife and I go on a trip, we sing to our baby, "I'm gonna take you for a ride" and the other person does the musical ditty.

Here's a big one:

If game developers do not enjoy their terrible work conditions and wish they didn't have to work over 14 hours a day, they should unionize not blame gamers for not buying their DLC or for deriding their unplayable, bug-ridden game as lazyly-coded.

Hitman:Absolution was not only a good stealth game, but a perfectly fine Hitman game. While not as open and as free form, it gave freedom in ways the other titles didn't. IMO, one of the best Hitman games.

That's an opinion held by a great many magazines and reviewers, but the cast of Spoiler Warning disagrees with you (and after watching their Hitman: Absolution season, I agree with them).

I care not what those people have to say. After my little debacle with the older titles, I really don't understand why they were so lauded. Why give me all these toys if I'm not supposed to use the majority of them?

I also feel like most magazines and reviewers reviewed the game as it laid. Here's this new game, is it good? They didn't sit there and question how well it fit into the series itself, which is something the gaming community loves to do, which is why it is an unpopular opinion. God forbid a game series changes direction at all. Of course, they'll also love a new iteration while ignoring how it tramples over the old ones. *cough*Elder Scrolls*cough* Its very arbitrary and mob mentality-ish.

When it comes to the Elder Scrolls, I am not sure if it's more popular to hate the new games because they "aren't as deep, man" as the older games OR to hate on the old games for how clunky non-user friendly they were...
