Really impressed with the overall depth and quality of games released for the Famicom Disk System.

Overall, I think it has a stronger game library than the N64. Maybe even the GameCube as well.

I think I might just have to admit it. Out of the currently released Hitman games, I only like Absolution. I think it comes down to how information is presented, and having a visible way of knowing whether or not I screwed up, and overall better mechanics. From the bits I've seen of Hitman 6, it seems to have the parts I liked about Absolution mixed in with the good stuff from the other games.

For example, in Absolution I will know if an area is off limits by looking at the map, whereas the other games don't give you any clue, except possibly in the briefing. I also feel like Absolution gives more options for getting a "good" rating. With the other few, it seems like finishing the kills in only certain ways will guarantee Professional or Silent Assassin. Sneaking mechanics, including the cover use that all Hitman fans seem to hate, actually gave levels a little bit of oomph in options.

I commonly hear how constrictive and linear Absolution is. While linear, I feel constrictive isn't a good way to describe it. Sure, I'm limited on times when I can snipe someone. Then again, sniping someone ruins pretty much any chance of getting a good score on the other games, excluding certain missions.

Well, if only one Hitman really fits the bill, it sounds like the series isn't for you. Have you tried checking out the Tenchu games or other stealth titles?

I'd look into Tenchu if I had any of the systems it was on. I'm interested in MGS, but all the talk of how a couple of the games in the series are chock full of cutscenes is offputting. Dishonored is my love. Deus Ex:HR is a possibility. Splinter Cell is a maybe, but I'd have to buy a collection of 3 games, like I did with Hitman.

Otherwise, not sure what's out there. I'll keep Absolution because I like it. I feel like there's something almost there about Blood Money, but not enough to keep me interested nowadays.

Do you have a GOG account? You might also consider checking out the Thief games. They're $10 a pop, but they occasionally go on sale.

MGS...it really does depend on the entry. I'd suggest trying out the first in the series and then deciding from there if you want to keep going.

I do, but my laptop can't run crap. My mom designed it, and it's set up to where its amazing for anything but gaming.

I love the idea of stealth games, and Dishonored is my jam, but it just doesn't seem like there are many stealth games out there, less so on stuff I own, and even less so when I start to try and play them.

What systems do you have access to? There are some other games with stealth as the focus or at least a part which might interest you.

If you love Dishonored then I'd highly recommend DX:HR.

Only Gameboy(all kinds), Gamecube, N64, and PS3. PS3 is the main one I have access to currently. This is part of my issue. The other part is finding information- there seems to be a lot of games that are stealth, but do not get called that.

It's one of those times I wish I could sit down and design games, and then I remember I actually enjoy life.
