Halo 5 tonight! Woooooo!

I'm anticipating critical acclaim and praise. Who all is going to be playing? Should be worth playing, to say the least.

Mine is on it's way but UPS left it sitting in Richmond, VA for 3 days to avoid it hitting before release day(or because they suck) so it probably won't show till late tomorrow :P.

I'm probably only going to play the SP/Co-op for the first few days since I expect MP will probably be a hot mess. I just really hope that the MP makes up for the broken ass matchmaking of Halo MCC since that was obviously intentionally crippled to make sure everyone would move on and play this at release.

That being said I'm really dreading the 9GB day one patch hopefully they have dedicated enough servers to it otherwise I expect not being able to play this till Wednesday or Thursday.

Have fun! I think I'll play a little original Xbox Halo 2 to mark the occasion. Single player, obviously. I'm interested to hear how the launch of 5 plays out, and how the game is. I'm sure I'll own an Xboxone in the distant future.

I should be on at 9pm if that's when it goes live. :)

So I played through the Halo 5 campaign yesterday. SP has a pretty complex plot that didn't really blow me away I would probably rank it the worst in the series :P. The MP looks promising though need some more time to get a feel for a balance though since these REQ packs really alter the game a lot and could make it really unbalanced.

Hey Fragems do you wanna play online at all? My gamertag is BluNMU. Also have a Spartan Company if anyone else is interested.

I'm near the end of the campaign on Legendary, I'm stuck at this one very hard point in the game, and it's nigh impossible on Legendary.
3 Warden Eternal Fight, holy hell this is difficult.
I have some gripes about the game, but overall it's a pretty good experience. I'm really excited to jump in on some Multiplayer.

Sure I'll add you next time I get on. You playing Legendary solo or co-op. I couldn't imagine dragging the bots through the whole game :P.

I think I'm done with MP till it gets a little more balanced if that is even possible. Noticing the REQ are literally wrecking the experience. Once a team manages to get a foothold it's game over as long as their players have good cards. Plus some of the maps are poorly designed and give one side a pretty big advantage due to poor cover placement/entrances to buildings.

The biggest issue is there aren't any noticeable limits on specific vehicles aside from the player having limited cards so on more then one occasion I've seen a team with multiple tanks, wraths, and banshees completely lock down a map. Best part was since there wasn't much we could do against them they were swimming in points as they slaughtered us so even if we managed to take one down they usually had enough points to summon another vehicle immediately or equip an op weapon :P.

Edit: looks like the dedicated servers are taking a dirt nap at the moment.
