Sega Nomad Help - Screen Mod - Overheating

Post by Rawkmann »

Well, I have a Sega Nomad and I've done the LCD screen mod, but my voltage regulator burned out but after I replaced with a new one, the AC port gets extremely hot while plugged in and starts to smoke. Anybody have some experience with that particular issue? I'm pretty much stuck at this point, maybe I missed something with the voltage regulator? This is my first time to replace one. Thanks so much for any help.
