Yeah we found it dude. I went ahead and bought it. It was hard to find and I was afraid to leave it behind and possibly let someone else pick it up because that's my damn luck.
Anyway, its the Famicom Disk System Version. It's in great shape and it cost 7200 yen. So about 60 bucks if google is to be trusted with the exchange.
It has the disk, the card and sleeve that wrap around it, and the plastic case. Also has the manual, crispy and new, and the clear plastic box that it all fits into.
If you do still want it, I can ship it out when I get home. Probably around the 27th.

On all the gaming forums I frequent, I can't recall ever reading anyone talk about the Boktai series. If there's one series of games that are utterly forgotten, it's got to be Boktai.
Yeah there's technically 4 games in the series... the first two came out in English on GBA, the third GBA one got a partial translation ( http://www.romhacking.net/translations/1331/ ), and then there's Lunar Knights on DS.
I'm not saying they are, or are not, good games. I'm just saying they are forgotten.
I beat the original back when it came out, never played the others. I need to go back and play the games now, since I assume emulation has fixed the sun requirement.
