I went to a local game store and found MechAssault for oXbox and Ocean Commander for Wii for $2 and $5 respectively. I'm quite happy that about the former since that's cheaper than I could find it on eBay and I can use the game to softmod the oXbox I've had for almost two years now.

Get ready for a long winding post! I hope its entertaining though!

I've been saving up a bunch of dvds and movies for a while now. Some were extra I picked up on the cheap and some became old news when I picked up a newer version on blu-ray. But to make a long story shorter, I traded in all those things to a store called Hastings.

I used to do this constantly a few years back a get a bunch of giftcards this way! I should start doing this again! There's an old thread where I talked about it!

ImageImage

In the end I got this much store credit! They offered me $97 cash, But I think I'll do better with a gift card!

Image

Image $108 bucks worth, but paid with a gift card!

Since I was still on the hunt and out of town I kept going and found more stuff! Here's what I got then (vita stuff is repeated again because I'm copy pasting my facebook post!)

Image
These things were half off at two thrift stores! The two dreamcast games were $3.50 each and the comic was $1.50, got them at Salvation Army. The Pokemon guide was $1.50, The two manga $0.50 each and the Naruto box sets were $4.99. I got those at goodwill

Image
Here are the things I picked up at hastings! Plus some pawn shops and a single game from another gamestop. Spent $100 on The Vita Stuff. But not really since it was a gift card with trade-ins! :DAnd I still have $36 left over on the gift card! Then, I got Fear 2 Xbox 360 for $4.49, meh! At one pawnshop I got those two wii games for $6.00, Not bad I guess. Finally at yet another pawn shop For $10 I got a Blu-ray movie and those two games, Pacman world 3 and Kings Field The Ancient city

Image

Various pick ups from different places. Lego Marvel Super heroes Vita was $4.99. Injustice PS3 was from Target and it was $5.99. At Best Buy, Custom Robo DS and Stick of truth were $9.99 and the three amiibos were $12.99 each. Only Marth will be mine, the rest will have homes with new owners soon! grin emoticon At gamestop Tenchu Z was $8.99, I have an extra box for it already. And I Bought Legend of Legacy for $40.00 New. I splurged on this one because of The deals I got earlier on the gift card exchanges. Plus I was thinking about ordering it online too. But I think It was better to have it now!

All in all, I had a fun time saving money and splurging on some stuff!

I do, but I haven't gotten around to snapping pics of it. ^^"

Anywho, got a handful of other stuff. Wasn't expecting to get anything else, but PSN had a sale yesterday, and I can't resist them every time. lol

PSN Sale:
Black Rock Shooter: The Game (PSP): $4
Half-Minute Hero (PSP): $4

Got the BRS game, since it was one of my first Anime, and I always wanted to try the game; I was ecstatic when I found out it got localized, but I always skipped it, due to never having the right funds. Mostly got it, because not ONLY was it on a massive sale (usually $20), but I also wanted to play something new on my Playstation TV. Big selling point there.

Half-Minute Hero was an impulse buy, since I heard it was great. Easily the most addicting of the two.
This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

The Black Rock Shooter game shoots the crap out of the OVA and the anime, IMO. Dat opening.

---

I managed to get the following, CIB in Like New condition off of eBay.

- Galaga: Destination Earth (PS1) - I have this for PC, but I doubt it will work with Windows 10. About time I bought the console version so I can play it on my PS3 on the big screen. I remember this game having an amazing OST... case in point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeX0XjDDZM8 7 dollar deal!

- Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS) - I remember this coming out originally for the DS and I had never played a Megami Tensei game, but I thought it looked cool. Never got around to playing it. I will now change that, after becoming a huge fan of SMTIV and Persona 4. 18 dollars.

- Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker [Limited Edition] (3DS) - And of course, the sequel. 35 dollars.
Consoles owned:
Nintendo - SNES, N64, GCN, Wii U, GBA, GBA SP, Original 3DS, New 3DS XL
Sony - PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP, PSVita
Sega - none yet :(
Microsoft - Xbawks Wun

Pokemon Glazed sounds like a porno.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

I got all excited today because I found another 3d0. It's an FZ-1 model. It has no cables and controllers though. But I have extras.

Image

Paid $15 for it and some PS1 games for a dollar.

I turned it on at the sellers stall and it had a copy of crash and burn inside it. He had no TV's to really test it there. The red and green lights turned on. And I could hear soft noises as I put my ears to the system. I took the risk and made it mine!

But now that I made it home to test it, I've got a dud! :(

You get a logo flash for a second and then a black screen.

Just blackness.

I opened the eject button and the tray opened again. And Some graphics came up, Meteors and planets and the REAL logo. And thats about it.

I pop a game back in and it just goes to blackness.

Darn it! You win some you lose some!

Decided to hit up my local Goodwill during lunch, and scored a PSone bundle and DualShock 3 controller for a $20 sheet :)

Image

Looks like the bundle includes 2 controllers, 3 memory cards, a PSone system (warranty label intact) and power/AV cords.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?
