Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
There was this big yard sale going on yesterday, and it was various houses down the road. Got a decent amount of nice purchases.
From the first stop:
Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenaichi (360): $5
Serious Sam Collection (360): $5
Second stop:
Zombies Ate My Neighbors (Genesis): $1
Third stop:
Xbox Demo Disc (Volume 22, I believe): $2
PS1 Demo Disc (some sort of virtual video thing, I think?): $2
Devil May Cry 5th Anniversary Collection (PS2) (With big box): $5
The DMC box was obviously the best one. I already have DMC 1 & 2, but I may just give them to a friend of mine, so my collectors box can be nice.
BTW, I'm guessing the prices on the third stop, cuz I got a couple of DVDs and books from there too, and altogether, it came out as $20.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Sorry for double post, but I went back to one of the places today (because I remembered a handful of good deals there, and wanted to see if I could get them), and a mom & pop store I was gonna go to yesterday as well, but didn't get around to it.
Anyways,
The place I went back to:
Catherine (360) (CIB): $5
Persona 4 (PS2): $1.50
Persona 3: FES (PS2): $1.50
Mom & Pop store:
Extreme-G (N64): $2.50
NFL Quaterback Club '97 (SEGA Saturn) (CIB): $2.50
College Slam (SEGA Saturn) (CIB): $2.50
Catherine was the main reason I decided to go back to that first stop again. Remembered it was CIB, and Atlus games can be difficult to find. Got the Persona games, due to never having played them.
Not big into sports games (with a handful of exceptions), but I picked the SEGA Saturn ones up, because they've been there for a while, and I rarely ever see CIB SEGA Saturn games in the wild like that.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Amongst other pick ups, I found these oXbox related items,
I got them for a total of 200(ZAR). That's works out to about $15.

Those Duke pads were missing the end part controller connector. That's usually par for the course (at least in my experience) with oXbox controllers found at garage sales/flea markets, etc.
I can't understand how folks just lose those things. Fortunately, I have a few spares.

And, these oXbox AV cables I got for free. The guy was putting them in a refuse bag, ready to throw them out.
S-Video, Composite, and RF box.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I got a near-mint copy of Bomberman 64 with the box and manual for about 39 dollars. I know the loose cart goes for around half that price or less, but considering the shape it's in, and how Bomberman games seem to be going up in price, I consider this a really good find.
Now if only I could find a copy of Saturn Bomberman for a decent price... the demand for that game and its ever-inflating price is getting ridiculous.
Other recent buys:
- Xbox One console with controller and hookups for 280 dollars
- Wii U 32 GB console with Super Mario 3D World and Nintendo Land installed for 260 dollars
- Gameboy Advance SP gold console with super bright backlight from newer model installed for 99 dollars
- Sonic 3D Blast (Saturn ver.) in very good condition for 15 dollars.
Not a bad haul. My work's big pay bonus went to good use.

Whoa, really??? Did you find it in a store? That's a really good deal. My goal is to also find a CIB version.

it was a pawn shop, i'm not sure how it slipped their radar guessing maybe cause its not a main title.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I waited to post this one for a while, since I've been spamming this post for a while, but I got a couple things on Sunday.
Wal-Mart:
Playstation TV Bundle with 1 Dualshock 3 controller, 2 game vouchers (The LEGO Movie Video Game, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time), and an 8 GB Vita memory card for $70.
GameStop:
Rayman Origins (PSVita/PSTV): $10
Lumines: Electronic Symphony (PSVita/PSTV): $8
Devil May Cry 4 (Disc only) (360): $5
RockStar Games Presents: Table Tennis (Disc Only) (360): $1
Couldn't resist the PSTV bundle; especially at that price.
