I've been really into the 3DS lately. I'm going through Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and it's taking me back.

I just can't get over the difficulty of the special stages though. The amount of memorization and skill to complete that without save states is just so far beyond my interest at this point. The overall game is still as great as it's ever been though.

Beyond that I'm in Satorl Marsh in Xenoblade 3D. Nothing short of incredible they managed to put that game on the NN3DS and have it run like it does and still look great.

Poor Virtua Fighter has been pimped out to other franchises. Sigh.

It is incredibly tough to watch one of the best fighting games ever to exist just fade into obscurity. We silly American's build that series up as being the most difficult game to play and that is just asinine. At least I get Shenmue 3.

VF's survival was always dependent on its success in Japanese arcades. Tecmo and Namco have gone the blatant fan-servicing route to help alleviate the lack of interest in 3D fighters.

Yeah, Virtua Fighter is plenty popular in Japan. PLENTY. Ever arcade seems to be full of people playing VF unless it just lacks fighting games completely.
