I'm glad a PS3 version isn't being released, seeing Bethesda's poor record on PS3 games. And while it would have been nice to see 4 on 360, at least this way they can go as far with it as they can currently push things.BoneSnapDeez wrote: Though it doesn't look like Xbox 360 or PS3 versions are being released, which makes me sad.

Same here, that fallout 3 port on PS3 was awful. Didnt' play a lot of new vegas on PS3 but since each time you wanted to talk to an NPC it took a 3 second load i can speculate that is awful as well. And i only read nightmarish stuff on Skyrim.Forlorn Drifter wrote:I'm glad a PS3 version isn't being released, seeing Bethesda's poor record on PS3 games. Plus, don't freak out over listed requirements until you see how it actually runs on your current machine. The requirements could be (like most PC games) absolute nonsense.MrPopo wrote:You could always use it as an excuse to upgrade.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I think your best frame of reference is looking back at how Fallout 3, Skyrim, and Oblivion ran at launch. New Vegas was by Obsidian, and the game suffered from some deadlines, I believe.
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Well I would say pretty much any open world game on PC is going to run like ass for the first month unless you are running a similar rig to what they tested on just to much shit that can go wrong and there are so many hardware variations that there is no real way to test it all. Hell there are still a lot of broken things in the previous Fallout and Elder Scrolls games it's just the majority of the major bugs have been fixed.
