not trying to rush anything, but just trying to let it happen organically. It'll be done when it's done is my way of thinking. When all the discussion of "I don't really feel good about THIS pick" is over I guess.

I just bought Morrowind and shadowgate regardless :)

I'm definitely for Micro Machines over Daytona.

I don't mind having a JRPG and a WRPG if no-one else does.

For Harvest Moon, definitely lets go wih Back to Nature (the PS1 game, also on PSN) and Friends of Mineral Town (the GBA game which is essentially a port of the PS1 game) if we go with it.

And I know the roster is looking full, but here's another slightly different option I want to bring up:

WarioWare Inc.
Platforms: Game Boy Advance, Gamecube, Wii U VC, 3DS VC (Ambassadors only)

A party game we can all enjoy without actually being in the same room as each other - lots of potential for high score competitions and the likes. Pretty quirky and unique too, and we've never done a game quite like it.

If we do MechWarrior 2 I will try to complete Mercenaries with a lance of Urbanmechs.

For the record, Harvest Moon Back to Nature was also ported to the PSP, as Harvest Moon Boy and Girl.

The PSP version is a straight port containing both Back to Nature and the original Harvest Moon for Girls (the ps1 version of which was never released outside of Japan), whereas the two Friends of Mineral Town games on GBA were very close but had some differences unique to the system.

Just saying, port options.

I wholeheartedly back Harvest Moon because I adore the franchise. I also agree that if it is picked, we should specify Back to Nature and its ports in particular.

Regarding the horror question, I would have gone for Fatal Frame (for the record  ), but it seems the thread has already moved on from it, so never mind.

I like the idea of 2 rpgs, even with Together RPG going. We keep to a particular sub-genre schedule when selecting games for TRPG, so while we are currently playing a WRPG, the next one is several months away. Point being, there won't be too much overlap really, especially if we're careful about which months TR's rpgs fall into.

So, bring on both Pokemon and the Elder Scrolls I say.

Cool Harvest Moon Boy/Girl is on PSN as well. The Futuristic one I was always curious about from that franchise.

If we pick Daytona USA, I will break my, "No Streaming," rule and play through the game showing all the secrets, and play in endurance mode with the horses LIVE!!!

Plus I will play a bunch of Championship Circuit edition and unlock stuff as well (but I won't be as good at that, since I never spent that much time on it). You know you want to shoot the poop with me while I play!

Im still up for Fatal Frame. Either the 1st or 2nd is fine by me too, I just went with 2 because it was ported a little more and because I was under the impression it was considered the series highlight.

Knowing Back to Nature is also on PSP makes me back that even more too.

I really don't like Daytona myself. I had it and sold it. It LOOKED like the kind of arcadey racer I'd enjoy (I love Sega Rally Championship and Manx TT Superbike for Saturn) but I hated the controls so much.
