Idk about Pokemon I feel that series (has its fans) is kinda too kiddy. Which is not a valid reason whatsoever lol.
I back Alone in the dark and Cod yes, morrowind yes and should consider a Racing, RTS and Srategy RPG Imo.
So far looking good on the list, also this is flying along we should wait a good week or whatever to have more people chime in its not even the weekend where more are likely to visit.
Together Retro 2016 Calendar - FINAL

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

I don't think SC2 will have few people. I saw it somewhere on a video and I would play it.
As for racing I'd still be on board with Micro Machines, still lots more ports than anything else.

Earlier in this thread, Bone suggested a Romance of the Three Kingdoms game. You know what? I want to see that happen. Perhaps the whole series, or Nobunaga's Ambition. We could do it in December.noiseredux wrote:1. Star Control II (space sim thing?)
2. Pitfall (platformer)
3. R-Type (shmup)
4. Metal Slug (run-n-gun)
5. Pokemon red/blue/yellow (RPG)
6. Oddworld (weird looking adventure thing?)
7. (horror) Alone In The Dark? Shadowgate?
8. Solomon's Key (puzzle)
9. (FPS) Call Of Duty? MOH? Perfect Dark? Golden Eye?
10. Knights Of The Old Republic (RPG)
11. Micro Machines? (racing)
12. Harvest Moon? (farm sim)
Also, I'm cool with KOTOR. It's in my backlog.
Serious question though: Alone in the Dark or Shadowgate? Because it seems those two have the most support for October gaming.

Shadowgate because Alone in the Dark manages to have worse 3D graphics than the original Star Fox.

I like Micro Machines and There's some Harvest Moon on PSN for the Sony peeps. COD vs MoH double feature sounds fun, Alone in the dark was never perfect but damn I wanna play and like it so much.

I actually second Daytona! UNLOCK THE HORSE!!!!!!!
...
....
....seriously...unlock the horse.
As for the RPG discussion I really want the Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in the mix. I will be okay with KOTOR, but I feel like Morrowind is the pinnacle of the Elder Scrolls series and I have a LOT to say about it. We definitely need to have more Western RPGs involved though as they are such an underrated genre. As a side note, I would be taking part in Anachronox, as I haven't beaten the game, but I have a huge entrance exam to study for and everything is at a standstill until I have finished it. When I do finish it though, I will take part.
In defense of Star Control 2, it isn't like Civilization at all. It has lots of action elements in terms of getting materials on planet surfaces and the space combat. I see it more akin to a game like Sid Meier's Pirates! more than anything, but with a much more linear main storyline.

Correct me if I'm wrong - but isn't Harvest Moon a $200 SNES game? Or are we talking the whole series here?
