Image Link Dump Thread.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Maybe I'm just getting old but I don't understand either of
Those comics beyond the first ones reference to Back to the Future.

I especially am totally lost on the second one.

They're both referencing cartoons, Rick and Morty and Stephen Universe, so if you haven't seen those, you probably don't even have a baseline to understand it.

Yes, there's also Gravity Falls in there too.

I'd argue Rick and Morty and Steven Universe are probably up most people's alley here. Steven Universe is all ages, Rick and Morty isn't at all. I think the only animated show that's more crass is South Park ... and it's not by much.

I actually really enjoy the slate of animated shows that are available now. There's some great stuff, and it's nowhere near as nonsensical as the stuff I watched in the 80s.

I didn't mean to imply it was stupid or anything. I just find it funny that while I think of Sonic the Hedgehog and Bionic Commando as retro games, someone else (presumably the person behind this marketing) thinks of Twister and Rumikub. I like the marketing as well.

I know what you mean, no worries! :)

I thought it was funny and clever, videogames have stole the term for sure. Lol
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
