Gotcha, I figured. Well it's up to you there are a lot of variables, do you already have a PS3/PS4 controller, want a bigger memory card than the 8GB packed in and stuff like that come into play. You said you have some PSP and PS1 games already DL so your probably want at least a 32GB memory card too.

Possibly interesting news for anyone owning a PSTV.

There was that whole hack situation that would allow you to get rid of the whitelist and play any (?) game recently. Sony patched that recently, unsurprisingly, but post-patch there are a bunch of new games that now seem to be compatible.

Ys: Memories of Celceta has been confirmed to work now, which is awesome for me, and there are also rumors/reports that Gravity Rush, New Little King's Story, Hyperdimension Neptunia PP, and Unit 13 also work (although I haven't seen any meaningful confirmation).

Here's hoping there are more unannounced titles that can run on PSTV now - personally I would especially like to see Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead Season 2 officially whitelisted. They seem like they should work fine with the default "touch" controls on PSTV.

Ys is finally playable? That is great news. They should just unlock all the games and just put it out there that some may work fine while others may have issues, deal with it.

I'm sure there are some kind of legal/licensing/support requirements that prevent them from just opening everything up... but I agree it would be the best course of action if they've really abandoned the PSTV.

Oh well. At this point I'll take Ys and call it a win.

A PSTV patch to add in the missing PSOne classics display options would be nice too if they are completely abandoning it.

I'll pop Hyperdimension Neptunia PP in later and check.

Wait what?!
Ys is playable, I'm gonna cry.. Walking dead I thought worked I played both. I'll check out what I have that didn't work before and post back. Hoping Wipeout and Silent Hill Book of Memories are, I don't care if Uncharted is that seems to be a pain with the controller.

So all that really matters is that Ys is working.. Holy shit!!
Also gave these a go but no luck.
Army Corps of Hell
Shinobido 2
Silent Hill Book of Memories (would of loved this)
Sly Cooper Collection (seriously needs to be)
WipeOut 2048 (seriously needs to be)
Obscure Aftermath
Turbograpfx 16 PSN games (should be, damn)
Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles (wtf)
Uncharted Drakes Fortune card game thing (would love this)

Can confirm that this still doesn't work. Although I believe it uses the camera a lot so that makes sense.
